Changes to the request rules

We have had some minor updates to the rules over the years but as this will be a slightly bigger change we thought it best to give it a bit of spotlight.

We are implementing these changes to make it easier for you to make new and up-to-date requests for the cons you visit and to lessen the clutter and confusion in the comment section.


The new rule is:

One person can request three songs per convention.


After a convention has passed, all request comments from that con will be removed from the blog even if they have not been filled. We will however keep them as a second priority for next year's con unless you cancel your request. Keep in mind that new requests will be prioritised higher than the ones from last year.
Feel free to ask for the same songs again or ask for the same songs as someone else.

As it will now be easier to make new request, all requests made prior to 2017 well be deleted. A bit of a fresh start, to keep things current and lessen the strain on all the timers that work very hard.



As an extra note.

We copy all requests to a spreadsheet so to make it easier for us, please write all info on the song on a single line. Like this:

Naruto Shippuuden ed - Toublemaker (add artist if you want/need)
AKB48 - Heavy Rotation
Frozen - Let it go

Please don't add links to lyrics if the songs are in Japanese, Korean, English or Swedish, unless there are special circumstances.

If there are several versions of the same song, a video link or specific info is helpful or we will have to guess.


Remember to write which convention you want the songs for!

2017 came and went. Not as many conventions as 2016 but we all need some rest every now and then. Even if some of the rest was due to bad timing and other unfortunate events. This sounds a bit sad but no need to be. Life goes on and new convention will come!
