Sailor Moon Crystal

The first art of the new Sailor Moon anime is out!

And we also have a title:

Sailor Moon Crystal

And it is absolutely gorgeous!

I was completely prepared for the worst but this is amazing beyond anything I had imagined.

I'm simply awed.

Other than that, the previously announced staff for the anime is stated again followed by a plot summary along the lines of:

Tsukino Usagi is an ordinary 8th grader until she meets the mysterious cat named Luna. She now has to transforms into the pretty guardian in a sailor uniform, Sailor Moon. Her mission is to find her companions and the Silver Crystal to protect the Princess from the Dark Kingdom, ruled by the evil Queen Beryl.

Will Sailor Moon and her friends be able to protect the Princess and the Silver Crystal?

Following the manga as promised.

Karaoke at My:NärCon 2014

So, KodachiKai's MoonCat Karaoke was at My:NärCon in Stockholm this weekend.

The Escape Artist på TV4

TV4 kommer börja visa den nya brittiska miniserien The Escape Artist imorgon, tisdag, kl. 21:00.
Andra och tredje delen går på onsdag respektive torsdag samma tid.

"Serien är skapad och skriven av David Wolstencroft (Spooks, Shooting dogs) och regisserad av Brian Welsh (Black mirror, In our name, Mayday)." Med detta plus David Tennant i huvudrollen är jag väldigt hoppfull. Jag kommer definitivt sitta klistrad vid rutan (eller skärm är det kanske snarare nu för tiden).

Om du inte sett Broadchurch redan så är den ett annat hett tips.

Lightning Returns 2 week free jap-audio DLC

We have been asking for the option for years and SQEX is finally giving it to us.

The option of original Japanese audio for Lightning Returns!

During the two weeks following the release of the game the Japanese audio and lip-sync will be available as a free DLC. After that it will cost.

First dual audio for Tales of Symphonia and now Lightning Returns!

The FF dubs aren't bad and if feels a bit strange switching in the middle of a series but I'll do it anyway. I'll always opt for original Japanese audio and I definitely want to support future releases like this.

The game will reach Europe on February 14, 2014. Japan already has the game so be watchful of spoilers. I'm looking at you tumblr!

Mushishi Anime Special in 2014

Urushibara Yuki is retuning with two new chapters of Mushishi that will be released in Kodansha's Afternoon magazine on November 25th and December 25th.

The old anime team is coming back together for the one-hour special, Mushishi Tokubetsu-hen: Hihamukage (Mushishi Special: Sun-Eating Shade) that will air on January 4th in Japan.

I am immensely happy to see more of this series!
For everyone who has yet to experience Mushishi, I will only say - You have something truly wondrous ahead of you.
