Seen the new Sailor Moon Crystal yet?

The second episode came out this past Saturday and you can currently watch both episodes on NicoNico Douga for free. You don't even need to get an account.

The preview for Act 3 is looking nice :D I was afraid of unsightly CGI fire in Rei's transformation but from what I've seen I might actually like this transformation.


The PV with the full version of the opening theme MOON PRIDE by Momoiro Clover Z is out!
I contains a little bit of transformation spoilers for Mars, Jupiter and Venus and I guess a little bit of story if you don't know it already.


This song has really grown on me and I'm completely in love with this PV. I wish the anime held this level of animation :P There were some sloppy faces in episode 2... Anyway, really pretty!
Wonder if there'll be a MomoClo version PV too. I love this one but I still want to see what they would do. And I'm both hoping an dreading a live performance on Music Station. (In case you didn't know they are horrendous live) I didn't see them on the guest list for Friday but maybe next week? But we're getting BUMP OF CHICKEN with "ray" (ray feat. Hatsune Miku) though so I'm happy :)

MoonCat Karaoke @ Cherrycon

KodachiKai's MoonCat Karaoke took a little trip to Osby, 12-13 April.

Ghibli, Comics, Asian-flee market and YOHIO

In case you've missed it there's some stuff going on this weekend you might be interested in.

4 April - Lund, Malmö
Bio - Det blåser upp en vind
First off we have the premier of the Ghibli film 'Kaze Tachinu' or 'The Wind Rises'/'Det blåser upp en vind'.
It will be screened at KiNO in Lund and at Spegeln in Manlö, in Japanese with Swedish subtitles.

Sailor Moon Crystal

The first art of the new Sailor Moon anime is out!

And we also have a title:

And it is absolutely gorgeous!

I was completely prepared for the worst but this is amazing beyond anything I had imagined.

I'm simply awed.

Other than that, the previously announced staff for the anime is stated again followed by a plot summary along the lines of:

Tsukino Usagi is an ordinary 8th grader until she meets the mysterious cat named Luna. She now has to transforms into the pretty guardian in a sailor uniform, Sailor Moon. Her mission is to find her companions and the Silver Crystal to protect the Princess from the Dark Kingdom, ruled by the evil Queen Beryl.

Will Sailor Moon and her friends be able to protect the Princess and the Silver Crystal?

Following the manga as promised.
