Theatre Fantasy I

I just saw the first cm for the October premier of the first Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica movie and it inspired me to make a little post about upcoming or currently screening films in Japan, anime as well as theatrical ones. Most of the trailer do NOT have subs!

First up, anime.
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, my favourite series of 2011 has been made into two compilation films that premiers on October 6th and 13th respectively.
The trailer in itself isn't that interesting but I'm a huge fan so I'll be anticipating the DVD-release non the less.

Tiger & Bunny, another wonderful series from 2011. Premiers on September 22 and there are some glints of the new character in the trailer.

Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin, those who are fans of the original film series might be glad to hear that there is one more film heading their way. Apparently it's an epilogue side story.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha, the second film is on its way. They did a good job with the first compilation so I'm looking forward to this one a s well. Premiers on July 14th.

Sometimes the wait for DVD releases is just unbearable! If there was a theatre nearby that was dedicated to Asian films I would be so happy!
